Discover a clever combination of natural materials with our 1mm (0.04-inch) 100% Hemp Twine with Beeswax. Made from natural hemp fibers and coated with beeswax, this specialty twine is designed to burn with a steady flame, making it an excellent choice for lighting candles, fireplaces, and other controlled flames without relying directly on a conventional lighter.
The secret is in the beeswax coating. Unlike ordinary hemp twine, this waxed version can be lit at one end and used as a convenient flame transfer wick. The beeswax also adds rigidity, helping the twine hold its shape when wrapped around a lighter or other small object. With a 20-pound breaking load, the cord offers useful strength for wrapping and decorative applications as well.
Each generous 300-gram spool contains approximately 700 feet of twine, providing a substantial supply for wick-making projects and everyday use. Its fine 1mm diameter makes it easy to handle, cut to length, and wrap into compact coils.
